Reviews
Nice museum with a collection of paintings and sculptures from the last two centuries, with several local artists from Udine and Friuli. Five euros for a standard ticket, felt like good value for money as there is quite a lot to look at.
The only, if I’m not mistaken, contemporary museum in the area.
The Paradoxa temporary exhibition that I’ve seen was very interesting. An open door to the Korean world, especially the north which is often unexplored.
I also had the time to watch the lovely 2 floor permanent exposition which have paintings/drawings from big names Picasso to Chagall to De Chirico and less known ones (De Chirico’s brother).
There’s loads so definitely take your time. I preferred the last floor than the middle one.
impossle to appreciate the paintings because the rooms are absolutely too crowded.
the total absence of control is a real shame in a covid pandemia period with 220k per day infections
The organisation is terrible! You HAVE TO stay in every hall 10-15 minutes untill you will be finally allowed to enter the next one! 30 minutes to look at the pictures and 60 minutes just to stand and wait!
Both paermanent and changing exhibition. Beautiful paintings and sculptures. We spent there more time than initially planned Our guide, Nicolette was wonderful.
The visit was not pleasant. Not much to see, I have found unprofessional and impolite staff. Clearly not trained in customer service. One positive note was the price which was reasonable. Would not recommend.
Great museum, I really enjoyed it for at least two hours and for the particular Sunday I went, entrance was free 👍🏼 …
Welcome in the countryside of Italy. In 2019 (almost 2020) we supposed to use google and internet to communicate instead of a paper attached at the entrance to let know people you are closing in a particular day.
